FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
BELOW IS A LIST OF THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS WE GET HERE AT GET FIT PALM BEACH

We strongly encourage client and trainer communication! Phone/Video calls should be a scheduled appointment based on the service plan you choose. We strive to deliver the highest level of service and this is why Chris personally accept only a limited number of clients (overflow goes to other Get Fit Palm Beach coaches) and why phone or video chats must be scheduled in advance. One of the primary advantages to working with Get Fit Palm Beach is the ability to instant message your trainer right from the mobile app 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All coaches reply super quick as well!

One of the outstanding benefits of working with GFPB is our adaptability to your resources and lifestyle. We often work with individuals that travel, have tight schedules or simply do not want to or can’t get to a commercial fitness center. While gym memberships are very helpful in adding verity to your program by way of providing a wide range of equipment options, it is not necessary to see a degree of fitness success. Each program is based on what you have available.  For clients with home gyms, we will build the program with all of your equipment in mind. We do encourage clients to make modest investments in resistance bands, stability balls or other apparatus that will add benefits to and accelerate reaching your potential.

In general, it is recommended that you start with 3 exercise sessions a week. Over time, you can progress to 5-6 days a week. If you progress slowly, and vary your exercise routines, you will avoid any overuse injury or exercise burnout. This is why it is important to seek advice from a fitness professional—to discover how to save yourself from injury and burnout!

GFPB Online Personal Training is ideal for people that travel or take vacation. We can develop full bodyweight programs or build based on equipment you have available. The same accountability, workout tracking and coaching is all mobile and travels with you. Basically, your GFPB coach will be there to guide and motivate even if you are out of the country or on the move.

Depending on the type of injury and the stage of healing, we can create programs that limit or avoid stress to the affected site. We can also develop corrective exercise strategies to improve joint stabilization, connective tissue strength and flexibility.

However, no corrective exercise or post rehabilitation program delivered by any GFPB coach is intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease or mechanical malalignment. Within our scope of practice, we will work with you to fine tune a progressive program that works to Inhibit overactive musculature, stimulate underactive muscle structures, activate biomechanical efficiency and integrate compound movements to enhance functionality.

If you are new to exercise, working with a trainer 2-3 times/week is recommended. If possible, training should not occur on consecutive days to allow the body time to rest and heal.

Online personal training is a comprehensive fitness coaching service drawing on 43 combined years of experience, to design a physical training program and meal plan that will help you achieve your goals and transform your body in a timely yet healthy fashion. Your program is designed on a bespoke basis based on you providing us information about your exercise history, current fitness levels personal logistics (by way of gym access, home fitness equipment etc).

We also ask you to send over a ‘before’ style picture that allows us to gauge your current level of muscularity, body fat and of course body type (Meso, Endo, Ecto).  Full body front, side, rear, with as little clothing as you feel comfortable since its hard to tell with baggy clothes.

There is also an additional brief fitness test that we recommend you take upon sign up that allows me to make sure that your workouts are created at the right level of difficulty for you.

Your meal plan then syncs up with your training plan and each days caloric intake and macro nutrient splits reflects the training you are going to do. Caloric intake is calculated based on your height, weight, age,  activity level and body type.

If you are on a budget we can select foods and meals that will be more cost effective.

If time is scarce and you would like an easy to prepare meal plan, just select a simple meal planner option when you receive your training forms and I will only include meals and recipes that are simple to follow and can be created quickly and with little preparation time, perfect for anyone short on time.
